Due to the open interfaces in software and hardware, it is optimally suited to the centralized or decentralized control of all trades: from heating, ventilation and air conditioning control to room automation and from media control to operation and monitoring. Control can take place locally or in the cloud. In addition to the integration of standardized communication protocols for building automation, system integrators also have the most common interfaces at their disposal for connecting audio/video and multimedia systems. Also the TwinCAT Database Server (TF6420) can be integrated into the project planning to connect the building automation data to common databases. In conjunction with the TwinCAT IoT Functions (TF6710), data storage and monitoring can also be implemented in the cloud.
